Warwick Announces Rockbass Adam Clayton
After introducing the custom shop version in May, Warwick has made good on their promise to bring the Adam Clayton
Streamer CV Signature bass to their mid-priced Rockbass Artist Line.
The bass, which Warwick describes as the “little brother” of the custom
shop model, carries many of the same features while being manufactured
in
the company’s Chinese factory.
It’s built with an alder body, a maple neck, and a maple fretboard
holding 21 jumbo bronze frets. The body is finished in Cream White with a
black pickguard to give it a retro look, while its passive Seymour
Duncan P pickup makes it sound the part as well. Other features include
passive MEC electronics, Warwick Hardware, and black block inlays.
Warwick says the Rockbass Adam Clayton Artist Line Bass will be shipping in September with a street price around $799.99.
