Fender Reverse Jaguar Bass
I just can’t get enough of the shape of this one, the Fender Reverse Jaguar Bass – I love all the old mustang, and Jaguar shapes, and franky this looks frickin’ awesome.
Those guys at Fender have announced the first ever bass to itsPawn Shop Series range of instruments, – the Reverse Jaguar.
It is billed to “offer bold personality, striking looks and daring tones”. It features a reverse body and reverse headstock (hence its name), a new pickguard shape, two Reverse Jaguar humbucking pickups and a streamlined control layout with a single three-way pickup toggle switch and two knobs for volume and tone.

Pawn Shop Bass Model – The first bass to be released as part of this range
Reverse Jaguar Body – the solid alder body is a ‘mirrored’ Jaguar shape
Reverse headstock – Maple, bolt on neck features distinctive reversed headstock, with 20-frets and ‘C’ profile
Two humbuckers – powerful, Reverse Jaguar humbucker at the bridge, and Big Block humbucker in the neck position provide thick, punchy, warm tone
Contrasting pickguard – 3-ply, mint green, black, mint green, uniquely shaped pickguard.
Available in 3 finishes – 2-colour Sunburst, Black and Candy Apple Red

From the video, the tone of the reverse jag sounds nice ‘n’ grindy which is personally one of my particular favourite settings, however I’d like to have maybe a heard a tone variation or pickup select in the demo for this bass.
…still, I do want one now.
